Month three is already in full swing and we started off running right from the beginning. Coming into this new month I was very expectant of what God was going to do in and through my team, and He has already blown every expectation. My team is working closely with another all girls team of seven. I am going to be honest and say that this was a huge fear because things can get messy when you place fourteen girls in one room for a whole month. Honestly the last five days have been the best five days on the race thus far. This is a bold statement considering every day is a pretty incredible day. Just when you think God cannot top the day you had previous He knocks your socks right off.
This month we are working with Ministerio Mateo 5:16. You might have been wondering what exactly we are doing and the answer to that is just about anything and everything. This week we went into a barrio, which is a small neighborhood, and taught preschool then when school got out we walked around the community and prayed for anyone who would allow us to pray for them. Other things we will do this month include: making bread, working in the market at a clothing booth, prayer walking in the surrounding communities, service projects to clean up the area, visiting the hospital and praying for people, and helping out with church.
The vision here is simple. We just want to love the heck out of people.
Pray that God would continue the good work He is doing in my team and that we would continue to seek after the heart of the Father. Pray that as we walk that God would shake the ground that we walk on and that people would know that their God is big. There God is good.
