The last three months have brought great change. Change I was ready for in my life and change I did not even know needed to be made. Change is good. It means growth is happening. It means true life is being lived.
It is here again… CHANGE!
This week a bunch of stuff changes. My squad is leaving Central America and is off to Eastern Europe, Romania to be exact. The time is no longer anywhere remotely close to home. It is unfamiliar. It is new. No longer can we rely on other teammates to translate for us because no one speaks Romanian. Rice and beans might not be a part of our every meal. Ministry will look different and the people will look different too.
Change!
The biggest change of all is the one in which I say goodbye to Team Sanctified:31 and hello to Team Chayil. This change is difficult, but necessary. Even though my team dynamic is now very different I still walk forth in the change that the Father has already worked out in me. I walk forth in confidence in His plans for me. I don’t look back. I don’t start over. I just keep building what has already been started.
My new team is expectant in the Love of the Father. We know God has called us to be warriors and bring kingdom to earth. We don’t wait, but we pull out our swords and say, “Here we are Lord ready and willing to fight.” That is exactly why He has said you shall be named Chayil, Hebrew for virtuous. Many see this word as a woman of high stature or maybe this word sounds dainty in a sense. However, it is more than that. It is deeper than that. The Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary explains that the name Chayil was used to describe great forces and armies. A woman said to be chayil would possess a certain strength, might and power.
God knew that I would come into the Proverbs 31 woman He had always spoken over me, but He is not through with me yet. He has more. He is calling me deeper. My daddy in heaven says, “GET READY.” I have shown you who you are in me. Walk in it.
Pray for my new team: Whitney Huntley, Liz Schuerger, Joan Moore, Betty Gomez, and Brandi Wilcox. Pray Unity. Pray sisterhood. Pray depth. Pray provisions. Pray health. Pray strength. Pray Endurance. Pray Chayil.
For me pray: Pray strength. Pray wisdom to lead. Pray delight in the Father. Pray obedience. Pray ears be opened and eyes be opened. Pray new.
