Man does time fly I can't believe month 4 debrief has come and gone and we are now on month 5.
Processing seems to be a theme with my team and I. We went into debrief with some pretty heavy stuff going on in all of us, and had no idea how God was going to send us out different than the way we came. A question asked of us at debrief was, “Do you know the fullness of God’s love?” I would have said up to this point I understood the fullness of His love for me. Truth is I don’t know the FULLNESS. If I knew the fullness of His love I believe I would doubt less, fear less, complain less, control less, and do a whole list of other things less.
He reminded me at this debrief how He came to set the captives free! FREE!! And Free I shall be.
I can’t tell you how free I have felt walking into this month just knowing that I have a Daddy who loves me more than I ever understood. God loves my true identity and He is not focused on my earthly one. When I realized this I knew I had missed the boat. I have been living as if fullness of His love could be understood on this earth. I have begun a process of listening to how the Father says I am known in heaven.
If you want lies to retreat fast just start practicing this too. It's interesting when you start focusing on this your relationships will also change. If you start focusing on who you really are you begin to believe it and hopefully even live it and walk in it. When you believe it and walk in it you will notice that is the point when others will begin to see you differently too. You may have a little more joy to give, a little more hope to spread, and a little more boldness to shine. The biggest thing that you will have is love overflowing because you can't help but love as you are loved.
