God has been teaching me about grace. What exactly is grace?  I expected God to say Grace is an unmerited gift that I freely bestow upon you and you should freely bestow on others. While this is true this is not what He has been teaching me about grace. Instead what He had to reveal to me was in picture form. He revealed to me a painting. First the painting was just individual stokes, but in the end formed a picture. It had a beginning and it had an end. Now I had to ask, “Wait God I thought you were teaching me about grace how does this tie into that message?” When I asked Him this question He answered me by saying that, “Grace is not seeing the individual strokes or hiccups along the way, but instead seeing the finalized piece of art. Do not see the beginning, but see only the end. When you view people in this way you will understand my grace.”

In the moments of frustrations I choose to see peace. In moments of misunderstandings I choose to see clarity. In moments of teachings I choose to see the knowledge gleaned. In moments of sadness I see Joy unspeakable. The list of strokes in the painting may go on and on but I choose to see the end.

God grant me the ability to understand more and more of your grace!
