Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues,

I ask to borrow 10 minutes of your time as I tell you a story about the incredible journey I have been called to undertake and how you can participate with me as I embark on this momentous journey.

For the past two years, I have been working at a non-profit organization called Hope Network. While I have enjoyed gaining experience in the work force, the last year I have felt something missing. I began to feel stuck and I searched for a change. Last summer, I stumbled across an article in the local newspaper detailing one young woman’s recent mission trip around the world, living out of her backpack for 11 months. The idea intrigued me and by December, I had been accepted to join World Race and become part of a team of young adults going out to be the salt and light of Jesus Christ.

World Race (http://theworldrace.org) is a part of a Christian organization called Adventure in Missions (AIM). The World Race is a journey to 11 different countries in 11 months, where we, as a team, will serve with churches and organizations to the lost, broken, and forgotten. I am so very excited to have been accepted to participate in this adventure. I will be leaving in September of this year to serve in these countries: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

I would be honored if you would partner with me in this ministry. The first way you can partner with me is through prayer. Pray for God to go ahead of our team, pave the way, and prepare the hearts of those we interact with (as well as our own), and that we may be open to accomplish everything He has planned. Secondly, I am boldly asking you to consider being a financial supporter. In order to leave fully funded, I need to raise $16,267. This money will be used to cover the cost of travel, food, and board over the course of the year. Whether you can give a one-time donation, or commit to being a monthly supporter, any amount will be immensely appreciated and work towards funding this mission! You can support me financially online by visiting my blog or by using the enclosed support card.

Please also consider following my blog as I will be updating it throughout this journey with stories, prayer requests and how God is moving through the nations: http://rebeccakeys.theworldrace.org

I am so excited as I embark on this mission adventure with you. Thank you for taking the time to read this and prayerfully consider how God might use you to further His kingdom.
