Hello friends, family and random people that clicked on this link! Welcome 🙂
A few weeks ago I posted about my upcoming trip leading a Passport team to who knows where….
Well I have some details to release to you!!!
First off, I am heading to NICARAGUA!!!
I will be heading to Ometepe Island that is located in the middle of lake Nicaragua. Here is a visual for you….
I will be working with Nicaraguan Christian Children’s Center who’s purpose is to improve the lives of children who are orphaned, abandoned, or are in danger in their homes. They currently are providing a safe home and care for 85 orphans.
Ometepe is an isolated island in a poor and politically and economically isolated country. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in this hemisphere with the average worker earning only $2 a day.
I will be leading a team of 21 men and women between the ages of 18-22. For some of them this will be their first missions trip. These guys are so brave! Imagine your first trip being two months of full immersion! I am excited to be leading some fearless world changers!
So to recap, I am heading to a beautiful island to squeeze some beloved orphans with some fierce Kingdom warriors. Ain’t the missions life hard? Lol.
And like a cherry on top, God put me together with one of my best friends as a co-leader. Lynn Reagan was not only a J-squadder, but has been one of my roommates the past four months! HE IS GOOD!
You can support her (and therein support me, because I cannot do it without her!) by clicking here:

And if you want to see us in action here is the video that we made for our team announcing that we are their leaders. No one has dropped from the trip as a result. It gets a little weird haha.
A few prayer requests:
*Protection and health (we have heard from a few people that have been to Ometepe that it is common to get sick there and also that there is a pretty heavy atmosphere of spiritual warfare and attacks, heck no! Please be lifting us up and covering all 23 of us in prayer)
*Unity and love on the team
*financial provision for us and the ministry that takes care of these 85 orphans
*for God to MOVE! And for hearts to be open when He does
*for Lynn and I specifically as leaders (rest, boundaries, and to lead with love, boldness and servant hearts)
Love you guys! I will be back in GA May 30th for my training and to meet my team and then we fly out June 7th to Managua, Nicaragua.
Gracias por todo y bendiciones a Ustedes en el nombre de Jesus Cristo! Amen.
