After much prayer, I felt it necessary to resign from my University of
Texas at Austin job as a Desktop Support Technician, and concentrate
most of my daytime to preparing for the long journey ahead. I had time
to get my immunizations, turn in paperwork required for the trip, and
plan for trip purchases. Meanwhile, I still worked in the evenings at
Austin Community College as a Senior Computer Lab Specialist until the end
of the Spring semester.
