We are now in Bar, Montenegro for a week to work with a couple of long-term missionaries.
One of the missionaries, Danny moved from Serbia eight years ago to Montenegro and has established a few of the ministries in Bar. I have particularly enjoyed working with the Roma gypsies.
Last Friday we had our first visit with the Roma gypsies. We played with the kids in the Roma village and taught them songs and did a skit about David and Goliath. I also got to give “medical” advice to a mother whose son had ear wax drainage and prayed healing for the boy.
Tuesday when we returned to the village, the mother showed me the boy’s ears. They were both clean! That report blessed my day. What a wonderful answer to prayer. Thank you, Lord.
There are other ministries that we have been helping out with and since we are sharing our quarters with another WR team, we have been taking turns who will be going to which ministries due to size constraint. The missionaries head up a small coffee study room where they hold German speaking classes on Wednesdays and English speaking classed on Fridays. Thursdays, handicap people are ministered to with songs and games. Saturdays, we help with kids club in Stari Bar (that’s Old Town Bar) where a majority are Muslims. Last Saturday we did the skit of David and Goliath then played soccer and basketball with the kids from Old Town, but then it started raining and kids club was quickly wrapped up. This Saturday, we plan to do another skit with Zaccheus. Please pray for the salvation the Muslim kids of Old Town. Danny has been working with them for eight years. I am praying that Saturday we may see some of the fruits of Danny’s labor get harvested, spiritually speaking of course.

Sunday we leave 5am to Istanbul, Turkey for a debriefing and then fly into Israel at the end of October. Please keep our travels in prayer. I am excited about the next two month!
