1. Always take off your shoes when entering into someone's home. No exceptions!

3. Learn both Romanian and Russian words- you'll use them both in the same conversation.

4. Embrace public transportation [literally!]- you'll find yourself squeezed into a mini bus with 25+ other people.

5. Throw on your favorite heels and best clothes! These Moldavians OWN classy and always walk outside their homes looking their best.

6. Be ready to put your belongings into a cubby when entering into a grocery store.

7. Milk in a bag is cheaper than in a carton.

8. Learn to make coffee the Turkish way! You won't find any coffee makers here, but a small pot, water, and coffee grounds will do the job to get your coffee fix!

9. It's normal to see 5-6 brides in a park, getting married on the same day. Especially during spring time!

10. Get your dance groove on! Moldavians love to dance and have a good time!
