"Is this really happening?!"
"Am I really doing this??"
We always tend to ask questions, particularly when we're about to face a new experience in our lives. The nerves, excitement, and fears often dominate our minds, causing us to anxiously wait as the clock ticks and we get closer to this new adventure or opportunity.
These questions came out of my mouth and dwelled in my thoughts I don't know how many times as I drove down to Georgia with four other World Racers a week ago- strangers that would soon become my new family… no matter how often we attempted to throw our expectations out the window and enjoy our new adventure of training camp, we couldn't help but wonder….
"What am I about to get myself into?"
"Am I truly ready for this?
A week later, as I recline on my warm bed after taking a nice, warm shower with a REAL towel and enjoy some fresh fruit, I can now answer those questions. It really did happen and I really did go to Georgia and experience an incredible week of inner healing and intentional, practical, & spiritual training to go out on the field. I really did get myself into the craziest trip with the craziest people (C WHAAAAT?!) and encounter a week filled with refreshing, intimate moments of the Holy Spirit invading our hearts and breathing His GRACE, FREEDOM, and JOY in our souls.
And together, we are ready to GO and change the world.
[I know, that sounded super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!]
As I sit here and continue to process the events that took place during training camp, my own questions have not vanished, but have changed.
"Now what?"
"What's God going to do during these next two months
(8 weeks sounds better to me) before I leave?"
Well, that is upto me.
And every individual on my squad.
We now have the choice and opportunity to
LIVE.
OUT.
what we've just experienced.
To put it simply, God is going to SHAKE some things before we head out and change the world. He's going to speak LIFE through us and move in our own homes, campuses, and beyond. So, as much as my heart jumps ahead, asking what God will do on my trip once January hits… I'm also asking Him what He wants to do in and through me RIGHT NOW.
And it's gonna be
