Dear GOD,
I lift up the nation of I n d i a today. I pray for the entire population of 1,214,464,312, that every single individual will have an encounter with You, their Creator. Open their eyes to see YOUR truth, and remove the strongholds and mindsets they have towards the primary religion of Hinduism, which over 902,711,323 people have placed their beliefs in.
Thank You for the work You have already accomplished in this beautiful nation, including the restoration of political centrism. Continue to bless India's government and give grace to the leaders as they lead this nation. Thank You for the positive changes recently occurred, such as religious freedom, economic growth, and the addressing of injustices. May they seek Your wisdom and direction as they face political, social, and economic struggles. Protect this nation from any attacks, including terrorism, and may Your mercy expand across this nation.
Most importantly, draw the Indian people to know Your name and live as disciples for Jesus Christ. I pray for the 71,011,000 Christian believers in India, that you strengthen them and let them be a bright light in the midst of darkness. May their boldness and courage grow in tremendous amounts daily as they live their lives for You (2 Timothy 1:7). Protect them and radically use their lives to draw many non-believers to Yourself!
