Jordynn and I went to our church today to meet with Pastor Fritz, the ‘Global Missions’ Pastor. It was such a great and rewarding experience to talk to him. He was so supportive and had all these great stories from when he went to Uganda. He even gave us both a cotton Kikoi (a traditional garment worn by people in Africa) from the One City Ministries program in East Africa. Its 100% cotton hand-loomed by our sisters in Uganda. It was originally supposed to be an hour meeting but it wound up lasting almost 2 and a half hours because we all just had so much to talk about. I truly feel blessed to have this support system around me. I am so excited to embark on this journey. There were so many emotions that came out in our meeting today, I couldn’t even express how I felt. I had tears streaming down my face as I left because there was just this amazing holy spirit that filled my heart and mind. I knew now more then ever this was exactly where I was supposed to be! Talking to Pastor Fritz was such a blessing and I am counting the days until our next get together.
