1 Corinthians 3:6-9

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.”

Reflecting on my time here in China my team and I have come a long way since we we first arrived. From not knowing our way around the city, not speaking the language and having the locals stare at us. Since then we have built relationships, taught English to the locals, helped build a bathroom, and climbed a few mountains. I feel so blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of people; I feel like we’ve achieved God’s work by planting seeds in this city.

This little cutie is part of a Mexican family here in China. Never thought I’d use my Spanish in China.

Team work makes the dream work! Helping build a bathroom for a local.

I met these girls at a local festival we attended, they were so eager to show us how much English they knew.

Baby in a bowl!

These paintings are from a local art studio. A Canadian woman, that married a Tibetan man, runs an art program out of her house. Pictures don’t do the art work justice!

The kids getting out of school, the ones that weren’t shy would high five us as they walked by.

Me and my amazing team!
