Meet my new team, three chainz! Our name was inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12 “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” I will be ministering along side these women for the next four months and I couldn’t be more excited!

This month we stayed in a small village in south-east India. The village was very much traditional in ways of their food and attire. Women are to be double covered with a scarf, a shirt that comes down to their knees and ankles must never be shown. The local fruit stands were one of our daily stops.

This month has by far been my favorite month of the race, I never thought I would like India this much! I am loving the culture, the food and the people.

I completely fell in love with the children at our ministry. Due to the financial donations from my supporters, we were able to bless this ministry by funding recreational trips to the damn, park and beach. We were able to spend quality time with the kids and give them the opportunity to see new things.

This month our ministry was to work at an orphanage that houses children with disabilities. Monica (photographed below) loves music and loves to dance.

Tatum has no muscle in her arms and is unable to use her arms. She uses her feet to pick up items, write and give high fives. She is very joyful and loves to learn.

During our trips to the beach, the kids loved playing in the sand and the waves. It was so rewarding to see the joy in their little faces!

During the month we lived at the children’s home and I loved spending time with them during our downtime.

I am sad to be leaving India but I am so glad that I was able to show these kids a glimpse of God’s love. They will forever be in my heart!
