Preparing for this mission has been a struggle for me in many aspects. I feel as if God has tested me in areas that brought me out of my comfort zone. When this mission was brought to my attention I never thought I would have come this far. With training camp two days away I look back and see how much I have grown in my faith. Because of the incredible support of my family and friends I was able to work my way through the financial struggles and doubts of pursing this trip.
I titled this blog ’11th hour God’ because with every deadline I was faced with it seemed as if God showed up a the last minute to test how willing I was. It hasn’t been easy but with lots of prayer and faith I was able to pull through. God always seems to know exactly what I need emotionally, financially and spiritually. I have to keep reminding myself that its on His time, not mine. With all that said I’m happy to announce that I have made my first goal! Thank you for all your support and prayers!
