When I get an update on how much people still need for our next deadline – $11,000 by December 1 – I'll reuse this post!
FRIENDS, FAMILY, STRANGERS, ANYONE WITH A HEART:
BACKGROUND INFO: A few weeks ago, at World Race training camp, I met the group of people that I am about to travel the world with! These people can corporately be refered to as "I Squad." I Squad is comprised of some seriously amazing individuals, and now that I know them, I love them. And because I love them, I can't imagine living life without them for the next year.
THE PROBLEM: In order for each of these people to go on the World Race and bring God's love to the nations, they must first have $6500 in their World Race account by August 18. Except really by August 16 because online donations take a few days to process. However, there are still quite a few of them who are still pretty far from their deadline, which means they would not be able to leave with me in September. This can not be!
THE SOLUTION: This is an easily solveable problem. A lot of people just need to donate a little bit of money. So here's what I'm going to do! Below I am posting the names of my squad mates who I know still need funding with a link to their blog, the approximate amount that they still need, and the link to their online giving. I can't make it any easier for you. So please respond to the plea.
THE PLEA: Pick a link! Sponsor a Racer! Adopt I Squad! Make sure we all get to launch on the World Race in September! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Especially if you didn't get to give to my World Race yet! Even if you already gave to my World Race! THANK YOU!
Disclaimer: These are just the needs that I know of, and these numbers are not the most up-to-date because I can't keep tabs on the fundraising accounts of 60 people. However, the point is that I know these people need your help. They are my family for the next year, and I need them.
