I’m actually writing this post in my Month 10 of the Race, but I’m just now finishing up sharing stories about Africa. Shaking my head!

Africa has been so hard, but so good and its taken quite a bit of time in Europe to process it all.

In Asia, God took my walls down stone by stone. He opened my heart to feeling.

In Africa, God put me in situations that gave me so many feels that I had no idea what to do with them. But they created passion to have a new level of compassion for people.

As I continue through Europe, He has been taking all the dreams I’ve written down as I’ve been on this journey, revealing things about me and my personality, and is helping me learn things about my past so that I can better understand the things He has planned for my future.

As I watch it all occur it is as if a puzzle has laid in front of me with all of my life on it and is slowly starting to come together.

The puzzle has illuminated and the pieces have come to life. Every day, every minute, every moment it seems as if a new piece settles into the correct place of its design and the picture becomes more clear.

Africa has been so hard and so good, but I would not change or take away even a nano second.

One of my favorite dreams I wrote in my Dream Journal is about how I can serve Live Love Malawi. The sewing clinic and its needs stood out to me. It stood out because sewing is close to my heart. Before the Race, I’ve excelled during the 10ish years of my career as a Tech Designer. But here I now was, in a small village in Malawi and I now had something unique to me that I could give away!At minimum I will be sending supplies to them and will hopefully get a chance to go back in person with a team to empower the sewing clinic.

This sewing clinic is the first, and only, ministry that I have connected to as the ministry rather than the people. I have no intention of going back to a life of corporate Fashion Design, but it was clear to me that the skills and time I’d spent on that career could be used for His glory, to support and encourage His children, His daughters, and bring more people to His kingdom through Fashion Design.

But it has been a two way street; Malawi also empowered me. I bought a lot of beautiful Chitenges to support the businesses of the women in Lilongwe and my plan is to make handmade journals for my future missionary endeavors. I will keep you posted on my progress, but I hope you will consider buying a journal to support future mission for the kingdom.

It’s all worth it!!!

God has given me some great revelation throughout my time in Europe that I am excited to share over the next couple weeks. I will share those things in a mini series in hopes to bring you along the journey of revelation that has changed my life. I hope that it encourages you!

THANK YOU, Thank you, thank you for staying with me this far.

We’re almost there!
