(Transparency is a beautiful thing, but it can be painful for the one being seen and/or the one doing the seeing)

Soooooo I'm a very open person. Sarcasm is also my humor of choice. Those two things together can sometimes be too much/offensive for some people. I guess this post is sort of a disclaimer. I plan on being me 100% on this blog (and in life in general). This is going to be a chronicle of an amazing journey that I want to be able to look back on. I don't want to censor myself. I want to be me. I want to speak (er um well write) in a style that is true to who I am.

I have a slight concern because the momma, poppa, Aunt-E and other family/friends/business acquaintances/random internet people/etc. are going to read this. The concern is not that I will be "found out" since I'm not hiding, but rather that I don't want to offend those I love or "turn anyone off." I talk about God in a very familiar way (some would say irreverent). I write very stream of consciousness. I plan to share all my thoughts- the great, good, bad and ugly (does it annoy anyone else that the phrase has bad & ugly and only 1 positive adjective?? SO unbalanced UGH!) I'm UBER random. I have lots of asides. I'm going to be candid about past experiences (sorry mom & daddy)…

I guess I just wanted to let folks know what they're in for even though I don't really have a clue what I'm in for hahaha!  Looks like we'll be finding out together. Man I love adventures!!!!
