WE did it!! 11 months, 11 countries, 1 amazing story. I know I'm a little late. Please forgive me. "Re-entry" (as AIM calls it) has been a crazy ride. Just as crazy as this past year! This entire journey would not have been possible without each and every one of you. So please raise your left arm, bend it backwards at the elbow and pat yourself on the back. JOB.WELL.DONE! Also reach both arms around yourself and give yourself a big hug– I wish I could do it for you! I love you all. I sincerely, deeply, truly, in my way-way down heart love each of you. You've done an amazing thing for me and everyone we touched around this globe. This year was life-changing. I'll be writing more about all of that, but I just want you to know what you did in partnering with me financially has affected WAY more than the number in your bank account! You've helped me grow into more of the woman God made me to be. You've helped me launch into my purpose and destiny.

Okay soooo what's next?-
I'm home in Philly for the next 2 or 3 years. Shocked?? Yea, me too. I just knew this Race was the beginning of my international lifestyle. God has called me back to the States and specifically HOME. There are things to be done here. People to reach out to. Family to pour into. Our mission field can be anywhere, including the place where we were born and raised. If I can go all around the world sharing God's love, there's no reason to forget about the people and places closest to me.
I'm looking to get into my career as a guidance counselor (guess I should use at least one of these degrees I've got! lol) in a middle/high school. Can't wait to pour into some kiddies and get them thinking about and living in their purposes! I'd also love to coach basketball and run a math club (yep, MATH CLUB).
Last, but definitely not least, I'm partnering with the ministry we worked with in Cambodia. Y'll, I FELL IN LOVE with Asia and specifically Cambodia. The country, the people, the heart, the children, the rice fields….everything. Our contact Month 11 is one of THEE MOST INCREDIBLE MEN OF GOD I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Stay tuned for more about him, his ministry and how you can get involved in bringing Jesus' love to Asia.
Sooooo I'll be writing a lot of blogs in the next month or so. You'll have opportunities to partner with me again. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be amazed by God's beauty all over this earth…we'll have some good times ;O)

Optimism and hope are different. Optimism tends to be based on the notion that there is enough evidence out there that allows us to think things are going to be better; it’s much more rational, and deeply secular. Whereas hope looks at the evidence and says “It doesn’t look good at all, but I’m going to make a leap of faith. I’m going to go beyond the evidence in the attempt to dream new possibilities."
