What’s next?!

I am about 11 days from the World Race coming to an end. On August 25th, 2019 my squad and I fly into Boston. I am both excited and nervous to return to the U.S.

So what is next for me? Once I get into the U.S. I will be taking a bus to New York City, where I will take a few days to rest, process and celebrate all that God has done this past year.

I will be in NYC for about four days. I will then be flying to Mexico to meet a team from my church in Chihuahua for a week long mission trip. I am extra excited about this because, I went on this trip a few weeks before I launched for the World Race. I am always super thankful when the Lord provides a way for me to return to Mexico because the work we do there has had such a huge impact on my life and as greatly influenced my love for missions. It is also exciting that I am able to finish this journey off the way I started it, in Mexico.

I will finally be returning home to Albuquerque, NM on September 5th. I have no solid plan on what I will do once I return but I can’t wait to see my family/friends and indulge in green chili! Although, I do not have a solid plan as I return home, I trust the Lord with what he has for me. Whether that be a specific job or ministry opportunity.

As I have already began the process of transitioning home, please pray for direction, for wisdom and for guidance as I start a new journey!

Love,

Rocky
