I need your help. I need your prayer. In fact, I cannot go on the World Race without your help or prayer. I’m totally serious.
God knows I need to break out of my comfort zone and humble myself to ask for these things. It’s hard for me to ask for things… for anything! But this is not about me. This is about something greater. This is about God’s unending and infinite love for everyone, this is about Jesus’ sacrifice for all humankind, this is about God’s people scattered throughout the world who maybe need some godly hope in their lives. This is about spending a year of my life living for reasons other than myself.
And I need your help.
My second financial deadline is coming up in less than three weeks, and I need to have $7,500 in my account by then. Right now, I’m at $4,210. Yes, I need over $3,000 before December 18th, otherwise I don’t get to launch in January 2014.
Would you please prayerfully consider supporting me? You can support me with as little –or as much– as you feel inclined to give. I know most of you reading this are probably college students or recent college grads, and finances aren’t really your best friend right now. But consider giving up Starbucks for a day. Consider being DD for one night and saving money on drinks. That’s $5, $10… If you have a job maybe you can give a little more… $20, $30, $50… Maybe you can give even more and that’s amazing too!! There is no limit either way; any amount, great or small, will count towards my trip, and it’s tax-deductible! I will be forever grateful.

Most importantly though, I need your prayers. We can’t get anywhere without prayer, and I can’t go to these 11 countries in 11 months without it either. Please pray for me as I prepare to leave. I fly out to Atlanta on January 5th, and I launch with the amazing A-squad on January 9th, off to Guatemala! Please pray for peace in my heart, please pray for God to bring in the financial support I need before my second deadline, please pray for safety in travels with all squads launching in January, and please pray for a year filled with Jesus!!
