Here in Palacaguina, Nicaragua month 10 of my race.

My team is staying in a church using our tents [which I am soooo grateful for….MANY BUGS!!!!].

Two days of ministry so far [picking up trash in the community, praying for the sick]. It seems like we will be doing a lot of manual labor, hands on, construction type work this month.

I do need lots of prayer this month for my sanity. Living with bugs is not very easy. As I am writing this a cricket just hopped onto my keyboard. I quickly flicked it off and stepped on it. I am also sitting here with my sandle in my hand because giant flying beetles keep flying around me. I have had a few over dramatic panic attacks from all the bugs EVERYWHERE!!!! We just [And when I say we I mean the guy on my team] killed a scorpion about an hour ago. My leg is covered in mosquito, fly, and ant bites. We often shower with giant roaches…etc. Pretty intense. I just thank God for tents to sleep in where creatures cannot get me.
[BTW… the giant roach looking insect below flies]

On a brighter note, our contacts here [the pastor and his wife] are the sweetest people. They speak only Spanish however, so I have become the translator for my team. I understand a whole lot more than I can speak, but I love being able to practice my Spanish.

This may be one of the toughest months for me "living condition" wise, but I know that God will move this month, and I just need to keep my eyes on Jesus and remember that my Love for the people is greater than my Fear of the creatures.
God Bless You all <3
