At the end of our South African month we had a mini-debrief 30 minutes from our hostel to a place in which I truly have no words to describe only just how incredible we were blessed. Okay, it was breathtaking. We were taken to a place that hosted all 45 of us World Racers that has a veranda overlooking what could be the most incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean that is attached to the biggest beach I’ve ever seen. Anyways aside from our beautiful location, the point of our mini-debrief was to make changes within our squad as in introducing new squad leaders, team leaders and teams. Two of the previous Team Leaders are made Squad Leaders, two people from different teams rose to become Team Leaders. So now, Team H.O.P.E. has been broken up, but some of us stayed together and some did not. Sara, who stayed as Team Leader, is with Jessica in their new team consisting of all women; Peter D. is in a new team by himself leaving Francis, Ann and I on a different team. Our new team consists of Dusty Dills (Team Leader), Jenn Watson, Michelle Lasko, Amanda Brucki, Francis, Ann and me (stayed as Finance Leader). All of us combined together, we make Team Siloam!
