I am leaving for my mission trip tomorrow. That being said, I’ve picked a word that I hope to stand by throughout the trip.
Fearless
Being fearless is not living a life without any fear. It’s about challenging ourselves despite the fear. I’m going to be spending the next month with strangers. I have no idea what will be waiting for my teammates and I in a country we’ve never been before. I might face difficulties that I never dealt with in the past. As exciting as serving the Lord for a whole month sounds, there is definitely worries and anxiety attached. But I want to practice living fearlessly on this trip. I don’t want fear to intimidate or hold me back from great opportunities. Even when I’m scared, I want to take on the challenge knowing there is more to gain than allowing fear to take control.
