Hey guys! I’ve been home from training camp for about 2 weeks and I feel like its time for me to share with you my experience. It’s hard to decided where to begin, there’s just so much to talk about! When I arrived at the  Atlanta, Georgia airport, I honestly felt more excited than nervous. I had imagined multiple scenarios regarding meeting my new family for the next 9 months, and most of them were good ones. The great thing about meeting everybody was the fact that nobody new each other (save a few people who came from the same places as one another). Everyone was so eager to know about each other, which made bonding with people quite easy. The days went by quite slowly, making the ten days feel like a month, but it was an awesome month. God was VERY present at this place…..you could see it in the people, nature, and the worship. This was also the first time I’ve ever seen someone healed through the holy spirit. Courtney Grever, one of the girls on my squad, had an injured wrist when she arrived at training camp. During one of the sessions, one of the guys from a different squad asked her if he could pray for healing over her wrist. When he lifted his hands off her wrist, Courtney took off the brace and get no more pain! This was AWESOME! I was totally blown away…but taking a turn from that, there was a period in time where I felt disconnected and lost. I was feeling an extreme jealousy for everyone and how they were connecting with God. I prayed and prayed that God would reveal something to me to get me out of this funk, to clear my head…and he did. He helped me realize that I have my own path to walk with Him, and that I shouldn’t be jealous of what He is doing in others, but rather willing to let Him work through me in His own way…. there is much more for me to share about training camp, but I’ll save that for another blog (;
