Hi All!!

This month we have been serving in Talanga, Honduras. It is known as the wild wild west of Honduras. This small town is 1hr away from Tegucigalpa. Most of the roads here in Talanga are not paved, people typically travel with their horses, bikes or walking. Some occasions you will see tuk tuks bringing people back from the main town.  The whole squad is together for the month we  are living together working with different ministries. Its been very fun month full of activities and ministry which is keeping us busy.

Ministry looks a lot different than last month and God has been teaching us different things as a team and a squad.  Our team and the Joy Bombs have been working with The Aaron Missions Outreach ministry.  Darlene and Darrel (our ministry contacts) are very involved with their community here in Talanga. Whether its taking food and local necessities to neighbors or taking sick people to the hospital because they have no other way of getting there. Constantly pouring love and being Jesus to whom ever needs it. We have been giving the privilege to be a part of this community and get to know the neighbors, kids, youth and elderly. We also  have been doing a lot of manual labor to build a fence around the AMOR ministry property which will make the property more secure. I have been able to tutor in English and Math at local schools in the mountain. Teachers need a lot of help here in Honduras. The government will not provide any sort of supplies for the children. The local church is involved a lot in education and making sure the schools have supplies in order to provide best education to the kids. That being said children also don’t have any meals while at school, we will go out and provide lunch to the kids in school

AMOR also is involved with two local churches one is around 20 minutes away form the home and the other is around 1 ½ hr away. The roads are very bad this makes our rides a lot longer than expected. .We have been having a blast with the squad all together, valentines day was so much fun. The A men were extremely blessed with tons of encouragement (Thank you A women!!!) Its been a very active and fun month, its good to be tired at the end of the day and know it was because we gave it all. I still am amazed how God is moving EVERYWHERE and peoples lives are being transformed. Honduras is beautiful country and I have learned about having a generous spirit this month. You don’t need to have a lot of stuff to be generous,  generosity is all about  pouring out of what God has already giving you.

Keep on praying for us as we leave to Nicaragua next week. I will keep you posted.

Im already at my 11K deadline, God is so faithful and good! I'm 5.2K away from my final deadline please help me get there. Any help is huge!!!

God Bless!!
