We made it to Palacaguina, Nicaragua the first week of March. I recall when we arrived and dropped our bags at the church where we were sleeping in, all of us were sitting on the steps in front of our church/home on a hill in la Caldera (Name of the village we were staying in). The whole team was processing on how the living situation was going to be very different than what we were use to. Between the bucket showers and the out house we needed to adjust our expectations. At that moment on the steps we had a choice, as a team we chose to seek out God. Even though the month didn’t look as we expected and our personal comforts were taken away, we chose to invest in our host family, our community and with each other. Because of that we had one of our best months in central America. This journey has been teaching us to embrace change. Change is uncomfortable, but how great it can be if we choose to seek God out in these moments and embrace what he is doing.
In life we will have many different seasons and through is season God will be with us all the time and we will come better person in him if we choose to embrace and seek him in every situation. We have victory in Jesus, that truth does not change. Jesus has overcome this world no matter what is going on around you! Our third month was different and a challenge but we took it heads on and we saw how God did amazing things throughout the month . It was very hard saying goodbye to our Nicaraguan family.cI added some sweet pics of our amazing month below.

This was a month where we truly forged life changing relationships with the community and our host, God worked in us and through us this month. Can wait to keep on sharing my stories with you all.
