1. World Race Fundraising
2. Money needed for vaccines (since my insurance doesn’t cover travel vaccines. *rolls eyes*)
3. Credit card debt
4. Car loan
5. Newly medical bill (as of today for some x-rays and ultrasounds I had to get.)
6. Funds needed for items for the race
All of the items listed above seen through a carnal lens can be seen as major mountains and even cause stress to the mind and spirit. If seen through a spiritual lens, the items above can be seen as small compared to a GREAT BIG God!
So, instead of allowing myself to worry (like I normally do; Hey at least I’m honest here!), I decide to tell this mountain that my God is bigger and hold the Father at his word.
I said, “Lord you are bigger than this debt. You said in your word that you would supply all of my needs according to your riches in glory. Lord, you will give me the wisdom and revelations as to how to tackle this debt and those who I need to make apart of this fundraising journey. You own a cattle on a thousand hill. If you have called me to this, I know you’re going to work it out.”
See sometimes we have to remind the Father of HIS word and just know that everything we come up against is just a test of our faith. For without FAITH it is even impossible to please him (Hebrews 11:6). I know that he will give me the wisdom in regards to each of the items listed above. I just have to keep confessing and speaking it. “For life and death are in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21)
So my encouragement to anyone who may read this is to remember that anything your’re facing. Anything you’re up again. Nothing is BIGGER than God. It’s only a test of your faith.
