Why now? This has been one of the greatest years of my life. I have met some amazing men and women of God; six of those who I’ve had the opportunity to grow really close to over the past eleven months. These people know me. There are people back home who also know me, but they know the Ralph that left Florida as a boy, a boy hungry for something that he couldn’t find in the pews of America. Of course I will still wear the same style of clothes, have the same haircut and eat the same foods, and many other things, but what about the other Ralph? The Ralph that left Florida in August 10, 2009 as a boy and on June 29, 2010 will enter as a man. Are others going to notice? Do I look different?
I am excited to get to go home for a few days to see my family. I’m just sad I am leaving this family. I want both. This really hit me hard yesterday, which I expressed to Tres as “this just sucks.”
I know God has plans for me. I mean, I am spending the next six months in Spain being discipled by some awesome leaders. Everything that is taking place and will take place down the road is on God’s schedule. We just have to understand that on July 29, forty-two leaders are scheduled to bring Kingdom in different places.
