What To Expect … When You Have Expectations

So I have been putting off writing this blog, cause I had to pray some more about what I was going to say. God was bringing up all kinds of revelations to me about other things, and honestly I think He was trying to keep my mind from going into racing fear mode. The more I focus on this trip, the less I focus on Him. While it's important I think ahead, Its also important that I don't miss out on God and what He is doing right this moment..

Last night God gave me a vision of me trying to stuff HIM in this "Jack in a box". I know exactly what God was saying — the more I try to box God in with expectations, the more He is going to push back and blast the box open. God doesn't like being put in a box. He Loves to blow our minds and go beyond limitations. There are NO LIMITS ON GOD!

So I laid it all down — all my fear, worries, joys, hopes and EXPECTATIONS for this trip. I realize that God is going to blow every thought my carnal mind can think of. The more I think about what's going to happen in the future, I'm missing out on what God has for ME in the Present.

"I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for" Jeremiah 29:11 (Msg)

I HAVE ONE EXPECTATION …. THAT GOD SHOWS UP! The rest of what is going to happen is in his hands.

In Acts 3 Peter and John are on the way to the temple for prayer meeting.  There is a man who had been crippled from birth waiting outside. Right as Peter and John were about to enter the temple the crippled man looked up asking for a handout. Im sure the crippled man thought he may get a few cents from Peter and John …… But God was about to Blow the crippled Mans Way of thinking!!!!

"Peter, with John at his side, looked him straight in the eye and said, “Look here.” He looked up, expecting to get something from them. Peter said, “I don’t have a nickel to my name, but what I do have, I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” He grabbed him by the right hand and pulled him up. In an instant his feet and ankles became firm. He jumped to his feet and walked. The man went into the Temple with them, walking back and forth, dancing and praising God" Acts 3:5-10 (Msg)

Instead of getting money, which is worth nothing, God healed this man and Blew His way of thinking!!!
He was waiting in expectation with his hand out, to receive silver and gold …. BUT INSTEAD GOD GAVE HIM A GREATER GIFT! HIS HEALING!!!

So while I wait with my hands in a receiving position to get what God is giving me in the now, I will no longer put any expectations on Him. He will Blow My set ways every time. I only require one thing from Poppa —
That His Glory and Power shows up where ever I go!!

Without Him I cannot do this, Without Him I am just a shell of a person, without him Miracles will never happen, without Him Lives will Not be radically changed in Love……

BUT WITH HIM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE !!!

Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” Mark 9:23 (Msg)

That means that no matter where you go or who you come into contact with, THEY DON'T have to have faith — You do ! Only You need the faith for God to move and work miracles.

So for now It's important I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and Rest in the fact that He is going to work Miracles, signs and wonders. No other expectations.

Truly I don't want to be dealing with God Popping in and out of a Box for the next year — it will be me that looks like a fool. I'd be trying to put Jesus in a polka-dot dress and make-up and shoving him in a Box that makes music. Yeah,it Sounds Ridiculous Cause IT IS!!! And God is Not a Clown lol
HE is an out of the Box God and I am an out of the box kinda Girl! Me and my daddy share the same DNA:)

But really in any relationship , you should never go into it with expectations… It never works .

Daddy I will wait patiently with my hands ready to receive But I will Not Box you in!
BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO BLOW MY MIND!

I desire to see people set free and healed and Loved. Jesus I leave all the Expectations of this Trip with you, In your lap , at your feet.
