Many of you know in January 2014 I embarked on a mission trip called the “World Race” (WR) with Adventures in Missions (AIM). The WR is a mission trip that travels to 11 countries in 11 months. My route traveled to 11 countries from South to Central America. First hand I was able to see how impoverished these people live as well as what were some of the needs in the areas we lived in.
Four other squads launched with us for the WR in January. Each squad consisted of about 40 people. Approximately 200 people were willingly to sacrifice work, school, relationships back home…etc to help others and to share the gospel.
I want to become a full time missionary within the next year. Prior to doing so I want to learn the ins and outs of planning, putting in motion, and leading mission trips of my own.
I believe AIM’s Fellowship program will fulfill all of those needs and much more.
AIM staff selected 13 out of the 200 WR alum who launched in January to interview for the Fellowship leadership program.
I am one of the 13.
This March I will move to Gainesville Georgia where AIM’s headquarters is located.
