I learned how to run sound on this Allen & Heath Qu-24. This is where I spend 90% of my work time. It’s a pretty neat little board. I say little because the next time you are at a concert see if you can spot the sound guy. Then look at their board, it’ll be about three times this size!
I am so thankful for Youtube! I watched dozens of videos on the ins and outs of this board. Sometimes reading a manual just doesn’t cut it ya know?
My job running audio & video (A/V) is quite full during our busy season at the office. As I’ve mentioned before our busy season at Adventures is from May to October. We have around 16 events in that stretch of time. Some are training camps for various programs (World Race, Gap Year, Passport…etc) and some are focused on “re-entry” for those that just got done with the World Race or Gap Year. World Race Training Camp (WR TC) is our longest camp which is ten days straight for participants. I have one day off during WR TC. So you can imagine if I have months of back to back camps it’s pretty non stop here at the office.
Besides training camps, we also have staff events such as quarterly meetings & Corporate Worship. We have corporate worship on Mondays (when there is not a training camp). It is a great time for us as staff to come together to worship, pray, share testimonies, and for teachings. Also, just a great way to start the work week.

We stream our meetings and corporate worship because being a missions organization that means we have staff all over the world. Thank you again for taking the time to check out my blog!
