Meet The Fellows!
It’s been almost three months now since I moved to Gainesville (not Atlanta people) Georgia. All in all my experience thus far has been great. The staff here at Adventures has been very welcoming and helpful. My housemates are a fun group of guys and one of them was my squad mate and teammate on the Race. There’s always some community event going on during the week and most weekends so it’s a lively bunch.
The leader of our Fellowship is Kristina Smith. She was a Fellow last semester and got chosen to be the department lead for the Fellowship. She has been a great leader who is very intentional in getting know us & how can she assist us in our goals and growth during the Fellowship.
There are four of us in the Fellowship this semester:
- Doug Linstedt
- Hagen Fulford
- Schuylar Reggi
- and Myself (If you click their names you will go to their blogs)
- All of us launched together last year for the World Race.
- Schuylar and I were on the same squad – Y squad
- Doug and Hagen were on the same squad – B Squad
Each of us has been assigned to work in the department that we are most interested in. Doug got recruited during the race because of his videos so he is working in the marketing department. Hagen has been working in the short term missions department, Schuylar is working for Kingdom Journeys (women)/ Beauty for Ashes, and I work in the Long Term Missions department.
Our first few days together involved a hike – then over night stay at a beautiful home called “The Arc”. – Then came an overnight camping trip where we had to build our own shelter. Yeah I camped again after the World Race.
Starting from the Left, Hagen, Myself, Kristina, Schuylar, and Doug. That shelter took many hours to gather + chop + stack and repeat.
They crazy! It took us about 5 hours to build this shelter. Five of us were under there until the rain started pouring down. Then it was just Doug and I who remained. I didn’t spend all that time helping put it together to NOT sleep under it.
I am working on my next update so I wont take as long as I did with this one to post it. Thank you all for checking in with me to see how moving to Georgia went, The Fellowship, and just overall how I’ve been doing.
Here is one of Doug’s videos from his month in Cambodia on his race

Thank you to all who have donated to my Fellowship fund!
Know that your donations are being well invested because you are
investing in my future.
God bless!
