It’s been about a month since I was officially accepted to the World Race. Ideally, I would have jumped right in to support raising, but I have been dragging…my…feet…

I really dislike asking for money. I’m a very independent person. I like taking care of myself. I like figuring things out on my own. And if I could, I would pay for this whole trip myself.

But raising support is one huge way the Lord is asking me to trust Him in this season of life. He’s asking me to realize that I can’t do this, or really anything, on my own. I need to trust Him to provide what I need. To let Him take care of me.

I know that God could literally drop $16,256 into my support account if He wanted to. But it’s more likely He’s going to use you to provide what is needed for this trip.

So I’m just going to come out and say it.

On this Giving Tuesday, will you join me on my World Race journey by making a financial donation? Whether it’s $1 or $1,000, it all makes a difference. Having read probably hundreds of racer’s blogs myself, I know it’s tempting fall into the “Oh someone else will do it” mentality. But today, I’m asking you to be “someone else.”

And if you’re someone who doesn’t like the idea of giving money to something or someone they know nothing about, I would be more than happy to chat or meet up with you! Just click the Contact link on the left side of the page and I’ll get in touch!

If you’re not in the position to donate financially, you can still help! Share this blog on your social media sites. Encourage your friends and family to learn more about what I’m doing. Help us connect! Getting the word out to as many people as possible is just as important as financial donations. I’m building a web of supporters, so the more the merrier!

And most importantly, pray! Join me in prayer today that God will work on specific hearts to bring in my first round of donations. Whether it’s you, or your cousin’s hairdresser’s sister’s mom, we’re all one big family.

So let’s take a walk together into the awesome story God is writing for us.

So you’ve read this post and you’re ready to donate? Great! The easiest way to do so is by clicking on the {Support Me} link on the left side of this page.

You can also send a check made payable to Adventures in Missions to P.O. Box 742570 Atlanta, GA 30374. Be sure to put RaeLynn DeFalco World Race on the memo line so the donation makes it to my account specifically 🙂

And if you’re so excited to be a part of God’s work that you’d like to donate monthly, you can set that up by clicking here

Joyfully,
RaeLynn
