I am almost halfway through the World Race (crazy)! I have met so many people, been so many places, made many memories, spent many hours on buses and planes, and I have many more still to come. None of this would be possible without your prayers and financial support, so THANK YOU!!! Some of you may wonder, “What is she doing over there? Am I paying for her to go on vacation?” Although we do have lots of fun on the Race:
With the nearly $14,000 you’ve given me, here are just A FEW things I have been able to do: Bolivia: Encourage new believers and members of a small church.
Peru: Go into a prison and pray for the women there, including those who chose to accept Christ for the first time after hearing about Him from my squad.
Ecuador: Give orphans with special needs the love of Christ every day for a month.
Colombia: Bring the Good News of Christ to kids in a bunch of schools through skits and songs in the broken city of Bogota.
Japan: Shine Christ’s light in the homes of families who are unfamiliar with the marvelous freedom that comes from living for Him. (And when you love people with all you have, saying goodbye sometimes looks like this):
Malaysia: New memories and friends about to be made!
I need to be fully funded by January 1st and I’m about $2,500 away from that goal. With that last bit of money I still need, I will be able to do similar things in Thialand, Cambodia, Swaziland, Botswana, and South Africa!
