This month team R.O.A.R. has been traveling around Ecuador looking for new ministries for future World Racer’s to partner with. I must say that it’s probably been my favorite month so far. Our goal for this month is to promote and encourage “Unsung Hero’s”, the people doing great things for the Kingdom that might not be getting the recognition they deserve.

Yesterday a teammate and I had the opportunity to visit with Oscar Aguirre of Pan de Vida in Quito, Ecuador. Pan de Vida is a ministry committed to serving the least of these. It started as a small food program within a church and has now grown into a huge ministry that now provides meals for people in the community, helps improve the living conditions of people living below the poverty line, provides medical care, school supplies and career counseling, all the while building relationships and sharing the true Bread of Life with those they serve. God is doing great things through this volunteer based ministry.

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never go thirsty.” – John 6:35
