“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16

I am currently sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight home from World Race training camp. I’ve spend the last 2 weeks in Gainesville, GA, meeting E squad and the rest of the leadership team, some that served us so well for the duration of camp and some that I get to work with this coming year. To say that I was blessed this week would be such an understatement.

Over the past 10 days I got to witness and be part of the restorative work that the Lord is doing in and through E Squad. We spent time learning what it means to be in communion with the Holy Spirit, we surrendered our shame and identities to Christ, learned what it looks like to evangelize and share Jesus with anyone and everyone we come into contact with. We learned what it means to live in a Kingdom centered community and practiced what it looks like to communicate in a way that encourages and spurs one another on and closer to Jesus. I am literally tearing up as I write this, just thinking about all that the Lord did. We walked into training camp last Wednesday as strangers and we left each other today feeling a little closer to becoming the family God made us to be.

I am BLOWN AWAY by how intentional the Lord has been in placing these people together. Each one of them plays such an important role in the body of Christ, in bringing the Kingdom and in E Squad. And they are oh, so E-asy to love.

I am humbled and so grateful that Jesus chose me to be part of their journey and I can’t wait to share His light and love together in Indonesia, The Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. I wish I could put into words all that is welling up in my heart, but all I can think to say is: God is so good.
