It’s been 98 days since my squad and I came home from the World Race. It’s almost surreal. Some days I’ll be driving and I’ll think, “I should be in Ukraine right now.” The other day I was looking through my journal and I started to remember all the amazing things we did and the hard things we had to overcome. Looking back, the things that were hardest humbled me in the most amazing ways. Those experiences took me out of my comfort zone and into someone else’s reality. Here are just a few that come to mind:

–       Worshipped in a hail storm in Lesotho

–       Ministered to addicts in Colombia

–       Jumped off the highest bungee jump in the world

–       Ate cow intestines

–       Became a 7th grader in Ecuador

–       Met a former TAMU professor on a mountain in Lesotho

–       Hiked Cotopaxi

–       Got tattooed in 4 different countries

–       Shared my testimony with prisoners in Lesotho

The list goes on and on and as I look back on it, I can see God’s hand in everything.

We didn’t come home because of a pandemic and chaos. We came home because that was God’s plan.

So what’s next? Since being back in the States, I started working as a Communications Coordinator with a non-profit organization called Attack Poverty. Those of you who know me, know how much I love this organization and it has been such a blessing to work with leaders who strive to empower everyone around them.

I have been accepted to a 9-month leadership academy called G42 (Generation 42) starting this September. This program is focused on a transformative curriculum of equipping for leaders who are passionate about establishing the Kingdom of God.

This video gives you a glimpse into the program:

Spirit of… from G42 Leadership Academy on Vimeo.

I believe that God has called me to be a leader in His Kingdom and this program will equip me with the skills to lead others.

As I close one chapter and open the next, I invite you to come alongside me. First, please pray for protection and guidance as I travel and learn from others. Second, consider partnering with me financially. Your contribution is not only investing in my future in missions, but is contributing to the Kingdom of God.

Please do not donate to my World Race blog! As of now I do not have an active donation channel. I will share that link as soon as I receive it from G42.

If you want to make a donation now you can Venmo me at Rachel-snow-4 and I will transfer it to G42.

If you have any questions, comments, conerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected].

Until next time…

Rachel Snow
