Written December 18th, 2019
To recap the last chapter: Guatemala was a time of growth. I grew in deeper relationship with my incredible Abba Father. I grew in boldness in the form of speaking out and not letting fear tell me that my words are a waste. I grew in obedience toward the Father. And I grew in community with my team and squad.
I am still growing in these areas and more. But as I have transitioned from one country to another, God is also transitioning my focus from one thing He has for me to another.
On December 8th my squad and I arrived at the HOPEthiopia base, and soon after we arrived we were joined by 11n11 squad W. For the next three days our squads were together for an Awakening and the the 11n11 squad left. After they left my squad started to figure out how best we could partner with HOPEthiopia for the rest of our time in Ethiopia.
Now this chapter of my Race is beginning and God is turning my focus to a time of choosing into what He asks me to. Especially the things that make my flesh uncomfortable but in the end lead me closer to His heart.
