- I’m excited to announce my newest fundraiser.. T-SHIRTS!!: Through Fund the Nations I am selling these really nice super, duper soft shirts with an awesome design! I am taking orders all throughout the month of January and then by the end of February the shirts will be in! They are $20 a piece plus $4 if I need to ship it to you. Also, 2XL and 3XL are $2 more per shirt. (If you are between two sizes I would suggest choosing the larger size!)

The phrase “Oh the places you’ll go,” on the front, comes from Dr. Seuss’s Oh, The Places You’ll Go book. It is a book that’s often given to kids (and adults too!) starting a new phase in their lives. It’s about trusting our inner guidance and keeping on going, through good places, tough places, and sticking it out until we achieve our goals. God is amazing and some lines from the book kept popping into my head. Yeah, I know, it’s supposed to be Bible verses! But God works in interesting ways. 😉
“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go….
And when things start to happen, don’t worry. Don’t stew. Just go right along. You’ll start happening too.”
“Oh! The Places You’ll Go!”
Being able to steer ourselves any direction we choose is an awesome thing. But it’s also scary. It does feel so much like we’re on our own! It’s easy to think we know best how to direct our own paths and get where we want to go, but the truth is, we probably wouldn’t have many spiritual “postcards” hanging in the room of our hearts if we went our own way. God is trustworthy. He is always ready to prove that. Proverbs 3: 5-6 says “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight,” and Psalm 37:5 says “Commit your way to Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” To me, these two verses represent how trusting in God with our future and committing our ways to him will allow God to create a journey we could have never expected. I would have never imagined having the opportunity to prepare for a nine-month mission trip after my high school graduation, but oh the places you’ll go. And oh the places God will take you! It would mean the world to me if you decided to buy one of my shirts!

Threads of Hope: I just completed the first half of this fundraiser! Woo hoo! In the first two months I was able to sell hundreds of bracelets raising over $1565. This provided $782.50 for my trip and $782.50 that will make an impact on about 8 artisan families in the Philippines. I look forward to final two months of this fundraiser!! I know the Lord will show up just as big as He has the first two months! If you are interested in bracelets comment below or get in contact with me! I am often selling them at craft events or community happenings!
They are $2 each or 3 for $5!!
