Heyyyyyy!
Just thought I would hit y’all with a quick update!
We arrived in Antigua, Guatemala yesterday afternoon for our midpoint debrief! Midpoint debrief is a time for our teams to reunite and reflect on our last 6 weeks of ministry in Nicaragua before continuing our last 6 weeks in Guatemala. Hard to believe it’s halfway over! 🙁 We will be here in Antigua until Saturday, when our teams will split again and we will travel to our last ministry locations.
Over these next few days, we have our squad coach and mentors here, Jodi, Dan, and Ruanne, and they are SO AMAZING! We all have the chance to have a 1 on 1 with them and just fill them in on how we’ve been doing spiritually and everything lately. We also have time to rest spiritually and physically. We are given time for worship, quiet time Bible studying, time to sleep, and go out into the city and explore! So far it has been SO refreshing. Getting to sleep in a bed after the last few weeks was HEAVENLY to say the least. It was amazing being able to roll from one side to the other without falling off of a sleeping pad and laying on the cement ground LOL. But in all seriousness, this rest was much needed. I feel like even after one night, I have caught up on my sleep and I have so much energy! As well as having time to study the Word and talk to God for a while was so nice. Debrief has been wonderful so far and its only the first day, so im very eager to see how the next few days of debrief go to prepare myself for the last half of this mission!
At the hostel we are staying at, we get WIFI!!! I had the opportunity to get a lot done this morning with the WiFi including uploading pictures from ministry and our fun days to Facebook, so if you would like to see some awesome pics, go check out my Facebook!
