I was feeling tired, almost to the point of delirium and getting on the train to go to a small group meeting (I have never really liked those) with people I had never met was less than appealing. I had a nap on the train to Lisbern and I was awoken as we pulled into the station by a woman with a Hallmark apron on. We got off the train and met Lucas and Shemek (I apologize for the horrible spelling I think I did) they told us 3 would go with one and 3 with the other, I couldn’t believe my misfortune, now I wouldn’t even be able to hide out amongst my team. I grabbed Brittney who I haven’t had enough time with and said “I’m in her group” and so to keep each group with at least one guy the groups became :me , Brit and Kevin and Jen, Syd and Miah. My group went with Lucas.
It was a short 5 minute drive to his home where we met his very beautiful and very pregnant wife Camila, She is bubbly and warm and I think it would be impossible not to love her. She fed us way too much delicious food as Lucas shot video and taught us about Kevin’s last name (its polish). As we finished eating their friends began to arrive. It was Andrew’s birthday and they surprised him with cake and a fish tank.
We worshiped and sang and talked and joked, but nothing I could explain would do it anything close to justice. So check out the video Lucas made and if you can’t watch it all skip to minute 5:20 . I LOVE POLISH CHURCH!!!!!
