This last week was similar to the week before but a little more laid-back. We did ministry work in the morning and afternoon except Wednesday Helen gave us the afternoon off so we went into town to get ice cream. It was really nice I got to sit and talk with M.J. a little more. I’m really sad that she is on the other team and we won’t be spending the whole 3 months together.
Thursday was similar to Wednesday, we had the afternoon off if there wasn’t any work for us at our ministry spot. Jeremy and I did go back up to the school. They have the little kids go to school in the morning and the older in the afternoon. We didn’t work with the kids though. They had us doing some cleaning and working on a poster. After supper that night we went back into town to hang out at the park and maybe do some evangelism. We got a game of tag going with the little kids. Then we also got to jump in and play soccer with some like middle school ish aged kids, and basketball with some other kids. I would say I don’t know if I have ever sweated so much in my life! It was awesome!!
Friday we had ministry work in the morning and the afternoon off. We have two teammates that are Catholic so a few us up walked to the church down there road. That was a super fun walk. We stopped at a store on the side of the road for ice cream and just walked around. The conversations were great and so was the fellowship! It’s great to get to know more about their faith. It was fun to get off campus and explore a little.
