Today was our first free day. We got to go into town this morning/lunch time. M.J., Jeremy, John, Matt and I walked around. We were looking for souvenirs, but only found one place that had some. It was still fun getting to walk around and see the town. It was a pretty small town so there wasn’t a whole lot, but M.J, Jeremy, John and I went out for lunch and it was fun getting to know them a little more.
Beach time!! Ever swim with the view of a volcano to the side of you and mountains in the background? Well it’s gorgeous! The kids were there too, so I got to hang out with Julia a little more. Some of us were throwing her back and forth and she loved it! I got to push her on the buggy board and swim with her on my back. It was just a great time with her! She’s got the best laugh and just loves hanging out with us! A few of us got a game of ultimate going. Some kids from the orphanage joined and picked up on it super fast. Totally got our butts kicked! It was a lot of fun! The beach was so pretty it was a black sand because of the lava rocks. When you walked out on this peninsula you could turn around and see both volcanos!
