Route changes during the race are always possible as things around the world continually change. And we have already had our first one.

Because of the unrest currently going on in Haiti, and the fact that our leaders needed to make a decision now, we will no longer be going there. We will also not be going to the Dominican Republic anymore. Instead we will be spending our last 5 months of the Race in Asia, adding in Vietnam and Indonesia.

On top of that, we will also be spending some time in Ecuador as we travel from Peru to Colombia. That brings the total to 12 countries in 11 months!

The new order of countries is…

Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia.

Please pray for Haiti and the violence going on there. Please also pray for my squad as we head out on Tuesday.

We will fly out of Atlanta at 5am Tuesday morning to Boston. We have an 8 hour layover in Boston and will then fly to Miami. With a 1 hour layover in Miami, we will fly from there to Santiago, Chile on an 8 hour flight. We will arrive in Santiago on Wednesday morning and from there my team will have something like a 20 hour bus ride to our ministry site. Please pray for safe travels and our hearts as we prepare to start this long awaited journey together!
