The end of month four brought about our first team change. At first I was not looking forward to a team change, but God knows best and His timing is perfect. I’ve already been so blessed by these girls as we pursue Christ together.

When coming up with a team name, several of us had visions of gold, light, yellow, sunshine, etc. Someone suggested “The Golden Girls” (cue our theme song: Thank You for Being a Friend) and the name stuck. We’ve already created so many memories and I know these girls are now friends for life.

I’m so thankful for sisterhood and community! I don’t always understand how it works, but these girls are patient to teach me and let me learn alongside them. So without further ado, here are my girls that make up The Golden Girls, and some of our favorite things. 🙂

She was with our squad in Malaysia and Thailand and is now back home. Please remember her in your prayers as she seeks to be the light of Christ in her home country and as she discerns what God has next for her life. We love and miss you, Evelyn, and wish all God’s best for you!
