In less than two months, just a little over six weeks away now, I will be embarking on this great adventure called The World Race. It still hasn’t quite sunk in what I’m about to go do, travel the world to seven time zones and take the good news of Jesus to those we encounter.
I’ve been busy researching and making decisions on gear, setting up doctor’s appointments to get all my needed shots and medications, and subbing in a dental office a couple days a week, while still teaching piano, and the list goes on.
But in the midst of the busyness, God did an awesome work. He used you, through your love, prayer, and financial support, and fully funded my trip. That’s right! I sit here fully funded and what a gift that has been. No longer do I have to wonder, “Am I really supposed to be doing this? What happens if I don’t raise everything I need by the deadlines?” All questions and worries about finances for my trip are gone. God has called me to this trip, wants me to go, and now has provided for me to go!
It’s been amazing to watch the Lord work through this part of my journey as I’ve met with many of you in person, or talked by phone, and shared this opportunity God has given me to be His hands and feet around the world. Thank you to each one who has given sacrificially to help send me so that I might go share the love of Jesus with those in other countries. In a sense, I feel you are sending me as your ambassador; I am going on your behalf as well as the Lord’s.

If you are still interested in donating and helping to support me financially, I am in need of additional funds for several things including my gear, medications and shots, and I am also responsible for any travel expenses incurred to get to our starting location in the States (which we still don’t know yet! I’m already learning a little bit about how to go with the flow and give up my “need” to always have a plan. I’m looking forward to how much more I may grow in this area next year!). We leave sometime the first week of January. I would appreciate prayers for rest, peace, and encouragement as I continue with all the preparations, that I would keep my focus on Christ and what matters and off myself and all the little things, trusting that it will all fall into place. Thank you for all the love and encouragement you’ve given already. I wouldn’t be where I am without each one of you and I am so grateful.
