I’ll be honest, fundraising isn’t easy. It’s Hard, it’s tough, it’s encourage, and discouraging. Seeing people give to me for nothing in return, and the people who’ve gone above and beyond what I’d imagine them even affording. Jesus rocks. That’s all i can say. The holy spirit works through people so crazily, so mightily, so big, and powerful.
There’s been times when I’ve to an almost complete stop, and have almost givin up. And other times I am so in love with how God has already blessed me with the funds of this magnificent beginning of what we as lesser power think as HUGE, but do we really know how big God is? I believe Jesus cares about the little things. but also, he’s such a big God, HE CAN DO ANYTHING. I can’t wait for Jesus to do the little and big things in me and for other people.
People have been constantly telling me that If God really wants me to go on this amazing missions trip around the world, I know he’ll provide the funds I need to GO. Whether I reach the Deadline and get the privilege to go or not, this journey so far has been life altering, even spiritually. I’ve never imagined my self growing in the way, this fast. Jesus is cool, guys. 🙂
{6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.}
{Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Ps 27:14}
I keep on re-reading these because it comforts me like nothing else. One thing I never seem to get is that peace doesn’t come from rushing, selfish motivation, competition, or looking at people who’ve already finished. (Praise god for provision!)
