1 USD = 30 METS

The exchange rate in Mozambique is awesome.
Let me tell you how far $20 has gotten me:

-Over 3 hours of internet time for me, and a friend.
-2 bus rides on the Choppa
-Lots of bars of chocolate for me and a bus full of people
-This new kapalana (a large piece of fabric used as a skirt, dress, shirt, or baby carrier):

-Mango juice for me and friends.
-A fresh pineapple off the street.
-Cream for my morning coffee.
-Some wool leggings.

$20 dollars is also all I need to live for 5 days on the race at $4 dollars a day.
As you can see….the American dollar stretches far in third world countries.
It’s fun learning to barter and haggle at market places.
The market above is Dondo, where we get all our shopping done.

When street vendors see ‘muzoongos’ as they call white people, they jack up the prices by triple. We then cut the price in half, and usually they accept anything you have if you tell them it’s all you got.

Besides clothes, internet, and juice, money still stretches when it comes to important things.
Medicines are cheaper.

Nutrients are cheaper.

Transportation is cheaper.

My squad is able to give more and be more because America truly is a rich, blessed nation.
If you donated $20 dollars or more, you provided me with over 100 bus rides.
These bus rides bring us to new, unreached places so we can spread the love of Christ.
The kingdom is spreading rapidly here.
Unsung heros are being heard.
Children are being held.
The gospel is deeply impacting hearts.

Although we’re only in week 3 of the race, my next financial deadline is quickly approaching.
I know God has me on this trip for big reasons.
Any doubts I once had about being on the race are gone as I see God moving in big ways.

Not only is God radically changing my heart,
but the hearts of my team and the children, strangers, widows,
hospitals, orphanages, and villages we affect.

So I ask for your help to keep me on the race.
-I need $3,600 to be FULLY funded!!-

I raised that in less than 3 months when I began fundraising last summer!
It’s all Gods money, and I have no doubt God will do this.
I am determined to be the hands and feet of Christ around the world.
