I baptized a person last week.
I love watching baptisms and have been able to witness them in almost every country this year, but I have never been the person to do the dunking.
The words were spoken by me–“I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” So cool.
I used to think that I couldn’t baptize people, that it had to be a pastor. The baptism symbolized a new life in Christ for the man, but the occasion was symbolic for me, too, an act of me embracing my authority in Christ.

Jesus sent people out and told them to heal, to cast out demons, and to baptize. Yes, please.
We are preachers and teachers and evangelists functioning as nurses and secretaries and managers. The calling in our lives is so much more than we know. Our purpose is to bring Heaven to Earth.

No matter where we are on the Earth.
